Dear Tri County Families,
Welcome to Tri County Elementary! We are excited to welcome you to explore our website and see all that TC has to offer. I invite you to visit our new elementary school at our main campus on Kendaville Road. In the Fall of 2023 MacNaughton Elementary and Sand Lake Elementary consolidated into Tri County Elementary.
Parent and community partnerships lead to student success. We believe that you are essential, and we welcome you to engage with our school as we provide enriching experiences. Our goal is to help children recognize their strengths as they reach their fullest potential! We are excited to partner with you as your child grows into a successful, confident individual who loves learning!
While our core curriculum in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies is the building block for the lessons we teach, as a staff, we believe in educating the whole child...not only academically, but also socially, and emotionally! Our school provides lots of opportunities for students to approach learning with creativity and a sense of wonder to nurture those first steps on the path toward lifelong learning. Students learn about the community around them, as well as participate in engaging lessons about music, art, stem, physical education and technology.
Our school is the recipient of the State of Michigan Innovative Community Library Grant. We are proud of our school library which houses a collection of high interest books and provides links to our local libraries. Our full-time teacher librarian and teachers on staff work to ensure that students develop the habits of lifelong readers.
