
All schools in the district were again given accreditation by North Central Association. The accreditation status means that the schools have met the standards for facilities, staff, and curriculum set by that organization.

Tri County Area Schools is located in Western Michigan and is comprised of sections of Montcalm, Newaygo and Kent counties. Located in one of the fastest growing areas of Michigan the district is in the midst of transition from a rural to urban area. Socio-economic status exhibits a broad range but averages slightly above surounding areas.
The district has a steady K-12 enrollment at approximately 2448 students and employs 146 teachers and 115 support staff members.
